Si dans certaines r\u00e9gions du monde la peste n\u2019est plus un probl\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 publique, elle persiste dans certains pays. Selon l\u2019OMS, de 2013 \u00e0 2018, pr\u00e8s de 97% des cas de peste humaine d\u00e9clar\u00e9s dans le monde ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recens\u00e9s sur le continent africain, dont 80% \u00e0 Madagascar.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Madagascar, les <a>Hautes Terres Centrales <\/a>(HTC) forment une r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 des cas localis\u00e9s de peste apparaissent quasi-annuellement. Dans cette r\u00e9gion, le district de Tsiroanomandidy est un foyer actif de la peste tandis que le district d\u2019Ambositra, actuellement end\u00e9mique pour la peste, a \u00e9t\u00e9 une r\u00e9gion \u00e0 forte activit\u00e9 pesteuse dans les ann\u00e9es 2000<sup>1<\/sup>. En utilisant une nouvelle m\u00e9thode de calcul, le DDMI (<em>Deviation from the decadal mean of the incidence<\/em>),l\u2019\u00e9tude<a><sup>2<\/sup><\/a> a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une \u00e9volution diff\u00e9rente du nombre de nouveaux cas de peste dans les deux districts. Cette diff\u00e9rence d\u2019\u00e9volution \u00e9pid\u00e9miologique des cas de peste dans les deux districts pourrait \u00eatre li\u00e9e \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments comme : l\u2019environnement, le climat, les caract\u00e9ristiques de la population (genre, cat\u00e9gories professionnelles, \u00e2ge\u00a0\u2026), \u00a0son mode de vie (travail agricole en zone rural attirant les rats, stockage de denr\u00e9es alimentaires dans les habitations\u2026), son comportement en cas de peste (la prise en charge plus ou moins rapide des cas de peste) mais \u00e9galement des contextes socio-politiques (diminution du nombre de tests diagnostiques et des d\u00e9clarations de nouveaux cas durant les crises sociales et politiques). Ainsi, une nouvelle approche prenant en compte l\u2019ensemble de ces facteurs sp\u00e9cifiques de chaque r\u00e9gion s\u2019av\u00e8re utile pour am\u00e9liorer la compr\u00e9hension de la dynamique
