RSVVW r\u00e9unit chercheurs, cliniciens, \u00e9pid\u00e9miologistes et d\u00e9cideurs impliqu\u00e9s dans le d\u00e9veloppement de vaccins, d\u2019anticorps monoclonaux, et de th\u00e9rapies antivirales, ainsi que dans l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des strat\u00e9gies de surveillance et de pr\u00e9vention.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c0 cette occasion, Tsiry Hasina RANDRIAMBOLAMANANTSOA a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un poster scientifique intitul\u00e9\u00a0: \u201c<em>Ten Years of Genomic Surveillance of Respiratory Syncytial Virus in Madagascar: Evolutionary Dynamics and Multiple Introduction Patterns<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ce travail, fond\u00e9 sur dix ann\u00e9es de surveillance g\u00e9nomique du VRS \u00e0 Madagascar, a mis \u00e9vidence une \u00e9volution continue du virus ainsi que des introductions multiples dans le pays, soulignant l\u2019importance d\u2019un suivi r\u00e9gulier des variants circulants. Dans un contexte de d\u00e9ploiement mondial de nouvelles mesures pr\u00e9ventives et th\u00e9rapeutiques, notamment vaccins et anticorps monoclonaux, ces donn\u00e9es sont essentielles pour adapter les strat\u00e9gies de pr\u00e9vention aux r\u00e9alit\u00e9s locales. Alors que Madagascar conna\u00eet actuellement une recrudescence des cas de bronchiolites, la surveillance g\u00e9nomique constitue un outil strat\u00e9gique pour anticiper l\u2019\u00e9volution du virus et appuyer la prise de d\u00e9cision en sant\u00e9 publique.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ces travaux s\u2019inscrivent dans le cadre du programme national de surveillance du VRS, coordonn\u00e9 par le Centre National de R\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour la grippe de l\u2019IPM, en collaboration avec le Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 Publique de Madagascar et diff\u00e9rents h\u00f4pitaux. Ces travaux ont re\u00e7u l\u2019appui technique et financier de l\u2019IPM, l\u2019Organisation Mondiale de la Sant\u00e9 (OMS et le Centre de Contr\u00f4le des Maladies et pr\u00e9vention de gouvernement am\u00e9ricain (US CDC). La participation \u00e0 cette conf\u00e9rence a aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 rendue possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une bourse de mobilit\u00e9 de la ReSViNET Foundation, avec l\u2019appui de l\u2019IPM et de l\u2019US CDC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon Tsiry Hasina, \u00ab <em>RSVVW\u201926 a renforc\u00e9 la conviction que la surveillance g\u00e9nomique est un levier essentiel pour anticiper l\u2019\u00e9volution du VRS, et soutenir des strat\u00e9gies de pr\u00e9vention \u00e9quitables \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale et mondiale<\/em>. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Voir
