La surveillance g\u00e9nomique permet en effet de mieux caract\u00e9riser les souches virales, de suivre leur \u00e9volution, de mieux comprendre les dynamiques de transmission et d\u2019appuyer les strat\u00e9gies vaccinales, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 orienter les r\u00e9ponses en sant\u00e9 publique. L\u2019impl\u00e9mentation de la surveillance g\u00e9nomique des pathog\u00e8nes \u00e0 potentiel \u00e9pid\u00e9mique et pand\u00e9mique est d\u00e9sormais recommand\u00e9e par l\u2019OMS dans le cadre de la pr\u00e9paration aux \u00e9pid\u00e9mies et pand\u00e9mies futures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au-del\u00e0 du renforcement des capacit\u00e9s individuelles, cette formation a \u00e9galement favoris\u00e9 les \u00e9changes techniques et scientifiques entre les \u00e9quipes de l\u2019IPM, du LA2M, du CICM et de l\u2019ONG Pivot, contribuant \u00e0 une meilleure coordination des acteurs impliqu\u00e9s dans la surveillance des maladies infectieuses. Cette premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en collaboration avec le LA2M.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c0 l\u2019issue de la formation, RAKOTOARISON Rado Lalaina, biotechnologiste au sein du LA2M a affirm\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0<em>j\u2019ai acquis des comp\u00e9tences directement applicables \u00e0 mon travail au LA2M, notamment en mati\u00e8re de bonnes pratiques de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age et de manipulation. J\u2019ai \u00e9galement renforc\u00e9 mes bases en bio-informatique. Ce type de surveillance permet de caract\u00e9riser plus finement les pathog\u00e8nes viraux pouvant causer des \u00e9pid\u00e9mies voir des pand\u00e9mies.
